Here are my current personal forecast thoughts for far southern Illinois and western Kentucky...

Tuesday night: Showers likely this evening - then patchy showers after midnight. Colder. Below normal temperatures.
Lows: in the 38-42 degree range. | Wind: Northwest winds at 5-15 mph. Normal lows for this time of the year are around 53 degrees. Precipitation probability - 60% .
Wednesday: Colder - windy - fall like weather. A few showers scattered around the area - mostly cloudy. Temperatures falling in the afternoon hours. Below normal temperatures.
Highs: around 49-54 degrees early - then falling again during the afternoon. | Wind: Northwesterly winds at 15-25 mph -gusts to 35 mph. Normal highs for this time of the year are around 76 degrees. Precipitation probability - 30%. .
Wednesday night: Windy - cold - a few showers possible. Below normal temperatures.
Lows: around 37-44 degrees | Wind: Northwest/westerly winds at 10-20 mph with gusts over 30 mph at times. Normal lows for this time of the year are around 53 degrees. Precipitation probability - 20%.

Thursday: Partly cloudy - windy - cool. Below normal temperatures.
Highs: around 48-52 degrees. | Wind: Westerly winds at 10-25 mph with gusts to 40 mph. Normal highs for this time of the year are around 76 degrees. Precipitation probability - 0%.
Frost will be possible on Friday and Saturday morning - most likely Saturday morning it would appear with lows well down into the 30s.
