May 23, 2011: Stormy week ahead of us...

Monday, May 23, 2011
.
A long week of weather ahead for our region.  A stationary front will be draped across our region - from time to time there will be ripples of energy that will move through the atmosphere.  This will cause several rounds of showers and thunderstorms for our region - some of which may be severe.
.
It will be important that you stay up on the latest watches and warnings during the upcoming week - there will be quite a few chances for strong storms to move into our region.  Watches and warnings will likely be necessary for some of our counties from time to time.
