---- The forecast for severe or extreme weather risk for today, tonight, and tomorrow. No severe weather today or tomorrow.
I will be watching next Tuesday and Friday for more severe thunderstorms in our region. One map I like to watch is the tornado ingredient map from the SPC SREF Model - it is already showing things coming together for next Tuesday afternoon. Click image for a better view in actual size.
.
Another map - this is a sounding from Paducah for Tuesday evening. Shows a lot of CAPE and a lot of turning in the atmosphere. Also shows some capping. Remember capping keeps storms from forming - at least early on. Again to view the image in real size - simply click the image.
