HEADLINES:
Short update tonight.

The main concern for the next 24 hours will be frost/freeze conditions across our area.  The National Weather Service has issued a freeze advisory for most of our local area.  If you have sensitive plants that need to be protected then do so.

Temperatures will start to warm up on Friday into the weekend.

There will be an increasing chance of rain on Monday and Tuesday.  I can't 100% rule out some showers and scattered thunderstorms on Saturday into Sunday.  It just appears the best chance for widespread thunderstorms will be on Monday into Tuesday.

Severe weather will be a possibility on Monday night into Tuesday.  I will need to fine tune the forecast for specifics.

I will likely not have a video on Thursday but perhaps on Friday.

We have a TON of new weather maps on the Weather Observatory web-site - these include temperatures, wind speed, dew points, heat index, barometric pressure, predicted rainfall, climate forecast, medium and long range maps, forecasts and more!  Click here
.

.
We have a number of new radars available on our Weather Observatory web-site!
---
We now offer St Louis, Mt Vernon, Evansville, Poplar Bluff, Cape Girardeau, Marion, Paducah, Hopkinsville, and Dyersburg Interactive City Radars.  We also have the two regional radars and now offer you three GR Earth radars.

Click here for our radar page - WEATHER RADARS---

We also have a new interactive radar - you can view that radar by clicking here.

Now is a GREAT time to buy a NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio.  Better to have one before storms strike than to be without one during an event.  I recommend the Midland Model 300 NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio - that is what I use here at my house!
