The forecast for severe or extreme weather risk for today, tonight, and tomorrow: Snow
The forecast for freezing rain, sleet, or snow today, tonight, and tomorrow: Snow will continue this morning with 4-8 inches of snow possible over far southern IL and western KY. Isolated 8-10 inches over west KY.
Forecast:
Monday - Snow - heavy at times. Wet snow. Winter storm warning. Accumulations of 3-6" over far southern Illinois and accumulations of 4-8 inches over western Kentucky.
Monday night - Snow ending. Cold. Lows in the 20s.

Well this snow overachieved - was thinking the heaviest band would be 2-4 with pockets of 3-5". But wow - some places ended up with 8-10 inches.
The next system will approach on Wednesday - thinking light snow is possible 1-3". Depending on the storm track. I will need to focus on that event tonight.
