February 12, 2011: ENJOY! ENJOY!

February 12, 2011

Nice outside!  Much nicer than the last week.

Temperatures will probably be a few degrees warmer today than I thought it would be last night - especially in areas with less snow cover.

My suspicions about having to deal with some clouds next week appear spot on.  We may trade the warmer temperatures for an increase in clouds.  I guess that is a fair trade off?

Keeping an eye on the February 19th-27th period for possible thunderstorms or other active weather.  Long way off - but watching trends.   Signals are there for both severe thunderstorms and winter storms for portions of the central United States.
