9 AM Update

Near record warmth today - you can follow along on our current conditions page - pick your local city

http://weatherobservatory.com/oem_weather.htm

Expect highs in the 70s with winds gusting over 30-40 mph.

Remember that there are burn bans in effect - please don't burn brush or other.

Mild into the weekend then colder next Tuesday or Wednesday - followed by warmer with another storm system.  Depending on track - we will have to watch for thunderstorms.

NWS has a slight chance of snow in the forecast for Monday night - behind the next storm system.  Low chances - but does give you an indication of the colder air behind the cold front next Monday.

Will monitor - but not expecting too much out of the system.

For those interested in solar storms :) - they can cause some damage to electrical grids and other.  Here is the latest story on the new solar storm - currently underway.
