September 14, 2011: Rain!

September 14, 2011

Widespread rain should move into the region later today and this evening.  Right now it appears that most areas should pick up measurable precipitation.  Some good news!
.
Widespread severe weather is not anticipated.  A couple of stronger cells can't be ruled out.  Severe weather risk is very low.
.
Temperatures behind the cold front will be much cooler on Thursday and Friday.  Lows down into the 40s will be possible in some locations.  Coolest air of the season, thus far.
