Woosh - our big weather event left quite a bit of damage in the area.  Several tornadoes and many reports of damaging winds.  Thankfully that has moved on.  In its wake we will have colder air and some on and off snow shower chances.

HEADLINES:  We have a couple of disturbances moving in from the north.  These will bring some clouds and perhaps a light shower or snow showers.  Light accumulation not out of the question.  Temperatures will fall quickly on Thursday night - into the teens.  Watch for black ice on Friday morning.

The arrival of the disturbances would be Thursday afternoon/evening and late Friday night/Saturday morning.

Temperatures will be colder over the next few days.  Perhaps the coldest mornings will be Friday and Saturday morning.  Lows on Friday morning will be in the teens.  Brrr

If you are a weather enthusiast then I recommend listening to WeatherBrains each week!  For a more in-depth look at what is happening in meteorology.

Now is a GREAT time to buy a NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio.  Better to have one before storms strike than to be without one during an event.  I recommend the Midland Model 300 NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio - that is what I use here at my house!
