A few thunderstorms over the coming days - the most widespread precipitation will likely be Thursday night or Friday.  Any thunderstorms that form in this atmosphere can produce locally heavy rain, frequent lightning, gusty winds, and even hail.  The tornado threat is very low this time of the year - typically thunderstorms are more likely to produce down burst winds or straight line winds.

I am posting information about the drought on the weather Facebook page - click here and hit like at the top of the page.

If you have outdoor events over the coming days into the weekend then check radars from time to time - also watch for updates on my Facebook page.  I try to update it more frequently.  I am out of town and will update the blog from time to time, as well.
