HEADLINES: The big story for the coming days will be a storm system that will approach our region on Wednesday. This system will spark a line of showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday afternoon and evening. The line of storms will move across our region producing brief heavy rain, lightning, gusty winds, and possibly a few reports of hail.
Wind fields will be strong with the Wednesday storm system - this coupled with some instability should produce a risk for a few severe thunderstorms. The exact amount of unstable air is still in question. If instability can get going then there will be a chance for isolated tornadoes, as well.
Monitor updated forecasts over the coming days.
