Clouds are going to linger in our region through at least Friday. On and off rain/snow shower chances will also remain with us.

There will be a chance for a dusting to an inch or so of snow - especially true for Friday.

On and off snow shower chances into Friday night - can't rule out a dusting to an inch or so in some counties.

Pattern should be interesting for the U.S. over the coming weeks. Lot of jet stream energy.

The McCracken County Office of Emergency Management reminds you that owning a NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio is the best way to receive notifications of severe weather watches and warnings.

Remember that the National Weather Service defines a severe thunderstorm as one that produces 58 mph winds or higher, hail 1" in size or larger, and/or a tornado.

Thursday: Severe weather is not anticipated. No significant snow or ice - could be some snow showers
